Description and Requirements



Telus Digital works with a global community of independent contractors located across the globe. This role is to set up a run certification program that rewards our most talented contractors. These programs will evaluate the strengths and experience  of our community and match tasks with skillsets.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Project Lead will work within the  PMO Function and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify processes and procedures that can be converted into tasks to be completed by the community
  • Setup robust processes to evaluate and measure tasks completed by the community
  • Setup a governance model with functional teams on engaging with PMO for existing and new Tasks to be completed by the community.
  • Responsible for managing the day to day support requirements across teams including Ticketing program support, guidelines analysis, program reviews, and others.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for any independent contractor who successfully joins a certified program
  • Prepare regular reports for management summarizing key performance metrics and insights
  • Identify and advocate for continuous improvement opportunities that streamline workflows and enhance productivity
  • Team management with experience of setting objectives and conducting performance reviews
  • Performing other assigned duties.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Manager Sign form required
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, service desk tools, and project management software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office capabilities
  • Experience working / collaborating with Global teams
  • Experience planning and implementation of key initiatives
  • Experience with Customer support, Ticketing service
  • Experience managing competing priorities and navigating a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
  • Time management and strong organizational skills are essential
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and excellent communications
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across program functions
  • Lean six sigma experience preferred.
