About the role

As an active member of TELUS Digital, you will be at the core of the team managing TELUS Portals. Your focus would be on developing new features, maintaining existing portal applications, and delivering the best user experience and high quality. 


Responsibilities

  • Implementation of new requirements as well as production support for existing Portals 

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications 

  • Responsible for the detailed design, documentation, development, unit testing, and maintenance of applications. 

  • Support requirements gathering, solution designing, and planning phases 

  • Be an active team member, support other developers/QA/BA 


Requirements


  • Experience and knowledge of JavaScript 

○ Experience working with ReactJS and NodeJS 

○ Redux and RxJS
○ Redux Toolkit

○ React Query

○ Express 

○ Storybook

○ Vite.js

○ Module Federation

● UI Testing with React Testing Library

● Testing with Jest

● Web services knowledge Rest and Soap 

● Experience working with Relational Databases & SQL (preferable Oracle)

○ Object Oriented DataBases

 ● Good communication skills / English 

 ● Good presentation skills

○ Code/Processes documentation using markdown language

● 3+ years experience working as a JavaScript FE developer  

● 3+ years experience working as a Node.js BE developer NO 

● Experience with NetCracker GEM

● Experience with NetCracker DB Queries


Desirable Skills: 

● Experience using Docker or Kubernetes. 

● Experience working with remote teams

● Experience managing GitHub workflows/pipelines

● Experience configuring deployments with helm files in GCP

● Experience working with remote teams
