Finance, Accounting Analyst III - TICA

The General Finance Analyst III will be focused on supporting monthly financial processes at the corporate office such as monthly account reconciliations, assets accounting, maintenance of leases reporting system and accounting, and other requirements that are expected from a key contributor in the head office team.
Main Responsibilities:
Support the monthly close process, including the preparation of accounting journal entries and account reconciliations; collaborate with cross-functional business partners while leveraging inputs from multiple systems
Prepare capital assets reporting and related monthly deliverables, including but not limited to: preparing asset continuity schedules and reconciliations, recording depreciation & amortization (D&A), maintaining up-to-date asset accounting, ensuring compliance of capitalization and asset policies, supporting asset requests from auditors and tax team
Manage monthly lease reporting and accounting, including maintenance of lease software, coordination of new leases or amendments with facilities and regional accounting teams, preparing account reconciliations and recording monthly journal entries
Ensure the compliance of various Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
Responsible for various reporting requirements to our parent company
Drive ongoing process improvement projects to automate or optimize existing finance operations
Support tax team requirements as needed
Support the broader Finance and Accounting team on ad-hoc projects as required

Qualifications:
Analytical and Numerical skills

Knowledge:
English - B2 - Required
Oral and written comprehension.
Appropriate use of language.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced excel skills
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Knowledge of Adaptive Insight - Desirable
Studies & Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3+ years of experience in finance / accounting
Accounting designation or equivalent
Experience in a global business environment adhering to multiple stakeholders an asset
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Workday) an asset
