Health and Safety Specialist (Occupational Health and Safety Specialist) is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace by identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, developing safety policies, investigating incidents, and providing training to employees. They must also comply with local laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fulfill duties of the occupational health and safety service in accordance with legal ordinances and organizational policies and standards.

• Develop and update Health & Safety documentation, ensuring proper distribution within the organization.

• Conduct annual safety analyses and recommend improvements.

• Implement initiatives to increase employee awareness of workplace safety.

• Perform workplace inspections and generate reports.

• Participate in accident investigations to determine causes and circumstances.

• Implement corrective actions and maintain necessary documentation.

• Propose and implement solutions to enhance safety and encourage safe employee behavior.

• Deliver initial and periodic health and safety training sessions.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in Occupational Safety and Health OR a degree supplemented by postgraduate studies in Occupational Safety and Health.

• Superior communication skills, including fluency in English (our primary language of operation).

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
