About the Team:

The Telus Digital AI team partners closely with clients to define data annotation and collection strategies, ensuring successful delivery through expert consulting and execution. Our Technical Project Management team sits at the center of this process, supporting post-sales execution and serving as the bridge between client needs and technical delivery.

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong interest in AI and computer vision to lead data collection, annotation and labeling projects for enterprise clients. This role involves managing multiple initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across AI/ML programs.

The ideal candidate brings solid project management skills, an understanding of technical workflows, and a passion for delivering impactful results in a fast-moving tech environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients post-sale, translating project goals into clear action plans.

  • Lead the planning and delivery of AI/ML projects—especially those focused on computer vision and data annotation.

  • Collaborate with solution engineers, data specialists, and QA teams to manage both automated and manual labeling workflows.

  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and drive resolution of issues to keep initiatives on track.

  • Coordinate resource planning, reporting, and timeline tracking using industry-standard tools and practices.

  • Partner with internal teams (engineering, R&D, and product) to communicate client feedback and align on project goals.

  • Contribute to process improvements and best practice documentation to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field (STEM preferred)

  • 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in AI /ML, software engineering, or data-driven environment.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, computer vision, or data annotation workflows is a plus.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in dynamic, client-facing roles.

  • Comfort with tools such as Monday.com, Clickup, JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar project management platforms.

  • A proactive mindset, collaborative spirit, and desire to grow within a high-tech, fast-evolving space.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally, if required.
